Here’s a sample of how we use your funds:

  • $1,000: Supports a child with a CASA volunteer for one year.

  • $400: Funds two training classes for new advocates.

  • $150: Covers travel costs for out-of-county visits.

  • $100: Provides emergency essentials for a child.

  • $75: Funds a month of continuing education.

  • $35: Pays for a volunteer background check.

Donor Privacy and Integrity

CASA of the Pines is a certified 501 (C)3 Organization, Tax ID # 75-262-0080, with a required financial audit done by an independent accounting firm every year. Additionally, CASA of the Pines is monitored by Texas CASA, the State CASA organization. This organization provides a comprehensive program audit every three years.

We will not sell, share or trade our donors’ names or personal information with any other entity nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations.  To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.  With approval, donors may be recognized publicly and/or through social media platforms.  CASA utilizes Paypal/Square for processing online transactions.  Financial information is not retained by CASA of the Pines.
